I took this photograph from the pedestrian deck of the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City.  The wires in the foreground are part of the bridge.  Initially I liked the view of the colorful downtown New York City skyline through the wires of the Brooklyn Bridge.  But I had at least one person tell me they felt it was too busy.  What do you think?

I like it. If it had been just a shot of the buildings I would not have looked at it very long. With the cables and angles my eye drifts from the ridgid lines of the buildings to the web like structure of the cables. Gotham trapped in a web.
