I decided to play with this photograph in PhotoShop more than I normally do on most of my photography.  This is a bit more than just converting it to black and white.  The image was shot in color and then I used the halftone pattern filter on the entire image.  Halftone is a

technique that simulates continuous tone imagery through the use of dots, varying either in size, in shape or in spacing.
