Great Blue Heron at the Riparian Preserve – Gilbert, AZ

I was happy with how the water turned out in this photograph.  It was a cloudy, breezy morning and threatening rain.  So there was a fair amount of movement on the surface of the water.  The camera was set on shutter priority and had it been on full manual I would probably have selected a lower aperture since the photo is a little dark.  I would also like to see more detail in the heron.  But overall I was pleased with how this one turned out.
