National Geographic has announced its National Geographic International Photography Contest for 2009.  the prize is a digital camera kit and publication in National Geographic Magazine.  There are three categories to submit photographs to – people, places and nature – and the deadline is October 31, 2 009.  There are some amazing photographs worth checking out in the past winners gallery.  You can also check out this years submissions and see what you are up against if you decide to enter in the 2009 gallery.  Good luck!
