   I know a path like this down there. It leads to Blacks Beach, one of my faves. The beaches are less crowded north of the Scripps pier.

   Yep, that is the one. This is near the glider port behind the Salk Institute. But I did not make it down to the beach.

   It’s been awhile for me. Hiking down is easy, coming back up is a pain.
